Belinda McGuire, Teaching Artist

Belinda McGuire is a dedicated educator and therapist-in-training whose work bridges the worlds of dance and mental health. With a BFA from The Juilliard School and extensive professional experience as a performer and choreographer, she has shared her expertise as a guest artist and teacher at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, The Juilliard School, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and Canada’s National Ballet School, among others. Through her company, Belinda McGuire Dance Projects, she has led creative residencies around the world, mentoring dancers and fostering collaborative exploration in contemporary dance. Her teaching reflects a deep commitment to artistic experimentation, excellence, and the transformative power of performance.

Currently pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling at Southern New Hampshire University, Belinda is expanding her impact through the therapeutic field. As a graduate intern psychotherapist at The Collaborative in New York City, she brings a unique blend of movement-based insight and psychological training to her clinical work. This evolving integration of dance and therapy highlights her holistic approach to well-being, rooted in both expressive practice and empathetic care.
